This rack is 1-5/8" thick due to it's support structure below the rack surface. My new 30" PTS9000SN2SS came with 2 of these heavy duty roller racks. My oven has 6 rack positions, but these racks cannot be installed in adjacent positions due to the suppport structure. If one rack is in the bottom position, then other rack cannot be in the 2nd to bottom position. To cook a turkey, I had to take one rack out of the oven just so I cold use the 2nd rack position from the bottom. It's hard to use both racks at the same time unless your dishes are shallow.
I never had a problem with the standard racks in my old GE Profile oven. These fancy racks cause more of a problem than they solve. I am going to replace them with the standard racks. I think most people with not be happy with these roller racks.
GE should redesign these racks so that they do not take up so much vertical space and can be used in adjacent positions just as the standard racks can be used.

Now I have to return it, and that is a pain.
I mean, it LOOKS like a great rack, but it does not fit in my oven. And the specs do not include the width.

The rack froze up after a few years of service it no longer moves at all and we have to keep lubricanting the parts. Very frustrating

I have spent hours trying to find the graphite accessory that is called for in the operating and service instructions packed with the oven. GE could do a better job listing the item or providing a part number in their instructions. I supose must call to get satisfaction.

Rolls Easily and Also Stays in Closed Position

This roller rack has a spring loaded detent that holds the rack in the closed position so it does not roll out when not desired. It only takes a slight pull on the rack to pull it past the detent and then it rolls very easily. Having a roller rack is much more convenient than pulling out racks that slide.
