i BOUGHT MY NEW BOSCH 8OO SERIES IN JANUARY DID NOT INSTALL INTO OUR NEW HOME TILL OCTOBER. AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS STARTED HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE OVEN. BOSCH SENT TECH OUT AND REPLACED EVERY COMPUTER BOARD AND HEAT SENSOR ON THIS MACHINE AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. SO THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS AND STILL NO RESOLUTION. TO MAKE THINGS EVEN MORE DISAPOINTING ITS STILL UNDER THE MANUFACTURE 1 YEAR WARRANTY AND THEY ACT LIKE I SHOULD PAY HALF TO REPLACE IT. SO IM A HOME BUILDER BY TRADE I HAVE DEALT WITH MANY APPLIANCE COMPANYS AND BOSCH HAS THE ABSLOUTE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.. THEY KNOW WE HAVE ISSUES AND NEVER CALL US BACK WITH ANY KIND OF RESLOUTION. WE HAVE A 500 SERIES BOSCH RERIGERTOR AND THE ICE MAKE HAS NOT WORKED ON IT IN 2 WEEKS.. VERY DISAPPOINTED TEXAS.

Unit worked for 3 weeks before oven just stopped working. No heat on top or bottom

This range and oven does everything I want in an appliance. I am the baker in the family and it replaced a 17 + year old oven that you couldn't see into - couldn't check what was baking without opening the door, losing heat etc. So happy now with being able to watch my "cookie TV". Bakes well. Lots of choices for function [conventional /convection/ roasting / proofing/ pizza settings].
I also think the stovetop works well, although my husband [who does most of the creative cooking] finds it somewhat difficult to control heat setting on four right hand side burners. Only two left burners allow for truly lower flame [for more delicate sauces etc]. Might be better to distribute that differently on range top.
We have only had this range for ~ 5 months. Previously we had purchased the same range in 2023, and it was great for ~ 7 months, when it suddenly started with pretty much every problem described in many of the online reviews. Not happy! But working with Bosch and our local distributer we had it replaced with our current range. So keeping fingers crossed that the first one was a lemon, and that this one will continue to be the best range ever.
[We did get the extended warranty cause there's a little waiting for the other shoe to drop residual concern].
This range also looks beautiful in the kitchen. Clean lines. Easy to clean stovetop. Bosch, if you're listening, one thing that might be helpful is making the indicator lines on the control knobs more visible. It is difficult to see where they are set to from any distance. I put stickers on mine and that fixes the problem, but maybe it could be redesigned so that isn't an issue].
Overall a great range. Took off a star for the initial hassles, but fingers crossed that won't be an issue in the future.

We ordered the 36" wide version and could not be happier. You can feel the high manufacturing quality of Bosch through and through. The power burner is very strong and can get that water boiling fast which is a very big difference from our previous Samsung range. Plenty of cooking space in the oven as well, specially with the added size for larger trays or pans for that gastronomic feel! We bundled with fridge and dishwasher for a seamless look. The brushed black steel finish cleans really well and leaves no fingerprints. Just love it.
