We've owned Bosch induction ranges for many years- in fact due to moving we're on our third one, so I feel like I can give some good insight on this appliance. I love cooking on this range but it is not without flaws. Flaws which Bosch have not improved over the years. Wins: it cooks so well, it's quick and responsive, the oven works nicely, and it's a good-looking appliance, too. The losses: the top controls are impossible to see unless lit overhead by our vent hood, it hates having water on cooktop or fingertips, it beeps at you if any metal touches the top controls, and the oven controls are activated when you lean against them so it's constantly chiming at me while I cook. Also, the glass top on our latest one has scratched much more readily and the warming drawer does pop open at the slightest bump. I think our next induction range will have to have physical controls because this whole touchpad thing just doesn't work for me.

I taught hiome economics for 25+ years and have worked on many different kinds and brands of ranges. I am in my "senior" years and we needed a new range. My husband wanted "the best". The Bosch 800 series did not disappoint us. We love it. So easy to keep clean. The operational videos are well done. With them I have easily adjusted to using the range. If I have further questions, I refer to the manual. If you can use a phone, you can use this range. I'm blessed to be cooking with the "best" in my later years.

I considered this range for months before purchasing. I am very disappointed that cooking zones 1 and 3 have not worked since installation. I have been waiting for three months for replacement parts. I recently renovated my kitchen and was considering a Bosch refrigerator but will wait to see how the repair of the range goes.

I love my new range! The controls are intuitive and easy to use. I love the bread proofing setting, and that the temp is variable. I also like that there is an easy way to set a timer for the oven to go off. The oven has a giant window and good lights so I can actually see what is going on. Everything is working wonderfully, can't wait to try more functionality. And I look forward to using the warming drawer when I cook more. I also like the significant overhang on the counters to keep crumbs from falling in.

Very usable range but the glass surface is hard to keep clean, especially with button controls on it - always smudged. The controls on the front are overly sensitive too so I'm constantly hitting something when walking by.

First time with an induction stove. Easy to learn proper settings for different foods Boost features are nice. It is a must for the oven which otherwise would take a long time to preheat. No apparent hot spots in the oven. Large pots of water start to boil incredibly fast with the boost. Much faster than our gas stove

I cook to relax and spend quality time with myself. I have always cooked with gas, but when I spilled pickle juice in the control panel and blew the electrical system, I needed a new stove. I wanted to do the right environmental thing and go induction, but did it hesitantly. I couldn't be happier. We cooked a Pot of tomato sauce all day on simmer and nothing burnt the bottom of the pot. The stove top is so easy to clean, it's a miracle.

Good, but not miraculous

Although some people complain about the controls, I quickly learned how to use them. I think the top of the range has a design flaw because the large burners which one usually has to attend are in the back so you have to lean over the stove. The other problem I've found so far is that the broiler does not heat evenly so if you don't move the food around part gets burnt. That being said, we like th range. It's just not perfect and it should be for that price.

Great new range and oven

Our old range had been fixed 3 times and was ready to go...so we went large with a wonderful Bosch range. Convection means faster, more even baking. Induction top means pans and food heat up almost instantly AND cool down almost instantly--so it saves time too, and helps prevent icky burned on food in the cooking pan, since the pan is not sitting on a burner that takes 10 minutes to cool off. Most of our pans work with the new range. Great addition to our kitchen!

It does take time to learn how to use this range...but it's well worth the effort. I really like having the option to have the oven preheat quickly... and the option to do the same on the induction top as well. My husband loves the warmer drawer... The oven temperature is reliable... I love to bake ... knowing the oven temperature is correct is wonderful.

I just moved into my new home and I love the look of my induction range. Still haven't used it yet. That day will come and I'm looking forward to it. However, the warming oven on the bottom keeps popping open. A simple brush by and poof. I'm afraid of tripping over this. A repairman was here, he ordered a replacement part which he hopes will fix the problem. We shall see I'm hopeful.

Getting used to this induction range

I got this 800 series range almost a year ago with a kitchen remodel. I had a gas stove and electric oven before that. It takes some getting used to the induction controls, especially if you have a few pots going at the same time. The controls can be hard to see in low light. The burners heat very quickly and evenly. The oven is slow to preheat, but faster with the convection setting. Three racks is a nice feature and allows you to stack a lot and still have even heating. I've found the self-cleaning to work well. I took a star off because of the difficulties seeing induction controls and how really annoying the warming cabinet is. It is easy to bump into and it opens constantly. It really needs to have an external latch to stay closed.

This is our second induction range and we love them. The only thing I don't like about this one is how sensitive the panel is on the front. I can be reaching to stir something on the back burner and inadvertently touch the panel with my abdomen and turn something on or off. I know I can lock it but only if nothing is on. If say, I'm baking, I can't lock the panel. I have only had this range for a few months and have already turned something off or changed from bake to broil or shut the timer off, etc. I really don't like how sensitive the panel is. The top, you have to hold for a couple seconds. I wish the front was the same.

My First Induction Range

I'm learning to cook with my 1st induction range. I like the quick heating and especially like that there are no HOT surfaces. Keeping the top clean is so easy w/o out the hot surface issue. I have two comments on needed improvements. If my body touches the front control panel, when tending to stovetop dishes - it wants me to continue programming - necessitates a lot of "cancel". Second - the bottom warmimg drawer releases/opens rfrequently and is sometimes diffiucult to close - creates a trip hazard.

This is what we especially like: After years of using an electric glass top range we especilly appreciate how much control we have with the induction range. We can now get a true simmer. We like the fit of range. While other ranges leave a gap between the counter and the range, the glass top overlaps our counter and it is a much better look. We like the oven. Our previous range, connected to the internet would often shut itself off without warning. This is not a smart range and we appreciate that also. We enjoy the warming drawer. It is a very useful feature that we think all ranges should have. The only improvment we would suggest is to back like the range controls on the cook top. Other than that, we are very happy with our purchase

We had this Bosch Range installed a couple of weeks ago. Very nice range that is built very well. Still learning how to use all the features it has. It is very different from the 2008 range that it replaced. The Induction cooktop is great to use. I'm still amazed at how fast it can bring water to a boil. Both the cooktop & oven work very well with very even heating of the food you are cooking. Highly recommend this range.

After having used this range for a while, I am still unsure about the oven temperature. The first couple of times I baked, the food was well overcooked. I asked for a technician to check the oven and he basically told me to read the manuel and adjust it myself. Since the display panel only indicates the target temperature and not the actual internal temperature, it's a trial and error process. For the money, the technology could be more user-friendly.

I've used a little one burner induction hotplate for almost 2 years and finally decided it was time to get rid of the gas range and purchase an induction range. I am so pleased with this range! It looks great - the cooktop blends right in with our kitchen counter. Induction cooking is so fast, faster than gas or electric. The cooktop is so easy to clean, too. I love having an electric oven again! I don't think gas ovens cook as well or evenly as electric. No knobs to clean on this model, either! It's very sleek looking and really updates the look of our kitchen. We also bought a Bosch refrigerator and over-the-stove microwave so our kitchen looks great!

This was our second 800 series. We purchased our first 3 years ago, but, in spite of how much we loved it, conveyed it with the house when we sold it and moved out of state. Neither of us could bear to be without, so before we moved, we ordered the 2025 model and had it delivered to our new home the week we moved in. It's an AMAZING appliance, the bext we'll ever own! The cooktop and oven both cook food completely and evenly. It has so many great features and settings, and is very easy to maintain and keep clean.

we bought the stove on 2/17/25. only half the top worked. we called Bosch to find a certified repair service in the area, they have spent the last 3 months trying to fix it and now Bosch wants to open a case to investigate, while we sit here with a brand new stove that doesn't work.

We just renovated our kitchen and replaced our range with this wonderful Bosch appliance It looks great, I love the way it fits over the counter making it appear like a built in cooktop appearance The induction cooking and convection oven are far superior to our previous range. Since food is cooking properly it no makes cooking/baking fun again!

A welcome addition to my kitchen

I has always preferred cooking on a gas cooktop. You just couldn't beat the quick temperature control. So, my preference has been dual fuel because an electric oven is superior to gas. When it came time to replace my dual fuel range I decided to get an induction cook plate to give it try, I had heard that induction was just as responsive as a gas cooktop. I found myself using the induction plate almost exclusively. So, I purchased this Bosch and am very happy I did. In addition to the superior cooktop performance, it's very easy to keep clean!

Very sleek stove, especially with the microwave too. There is quite a learning curve. Food can heat unusually rapidly. Definately worth the switch to induction.

We recently got the induction range and it has been great to cook in. Stovetop cooks really evenly, cools down quickly. The oven takes a little longer to warm up than I thought, but once on bakes evenly and consistently.

Great Induction Range

Induction cooking is so much more enjoyable than cooking with gas. Temperature is much easier to control with induction. The control panel for the cooktop is simple and intuitive. It is also very easy to clean, and keep clean, even during cooking. We spent a little extra and got the full extension rack (30" Telescopic Rack HEZTR301), and this was a great add. An added bonus of the induction top is that when not in use, it's additional counter/prep space in the kitchen.
