This kind of rubbery black panel under the bottom of the door has come loose. We have tried to tape it up, but it will not stay. Not structural, but nonetheless irritating as we are unable to fix this. The applicance is not very old and we are frustrated with it falling apart already.

Buy the expensive one! Worth it! Make sure your pipes are not lead/galvanized before you install! So many options for making YOUR dishes fit well (regardless of shape or size) and have access to the multiple jet sprays that clean them. Drying function is much better than average dishwashers. So quiet, I have to put my hand on it to know if it is actually running! If you have an open kitchen and adjacent living space, you'll have to listen pretty hard to hear it operating. You won't be sorry.

Extremely quiet dishwasher

This is my third Bosch dishwasher, the second at this home. They've all been very quiet, but this one is the quietest yet. The last one lasted 16 years! So why only 3 stars? Well, we've had some "issues"... 1. The unit shipped with the wrong kick panel. 2.The new arrangement of the racks is problematic. The third rack is nice, but the lower racks have issues. The separators can be raised and lowered, but they dont click into place when raised, so the slightest pressure and back down they go. The middle rack comes off too easily when you raise/lower it. You only get one silverware holder for the bottom rack. 3. the Home Control and Alexa interfaces work well (I haven't tried the Google Home app). Connection to my wifi was problematic (and I'm a computer tech) but I got if figured out. The installer laughed when I asked him to do it. 4. Registration is difficult, especially on a cell phone. Dates are DD/MM/YY format instead of MM/DD/YY. It was difficult finding the numbers they needed on the dishwasher. Model and Serial numbers Should be imbedded in the AR code you use to do the registration. 5. The documentation to use the dishwasher is abysmal! I had to use the internet to lern how to load it and move the racks. I'm still no sure of the features controlled by the buttons (that's next)

Our Bosch dishwasher is the first we can readily adapt to our needs, which is important to us as older people with a disabled household member. For example: bending down to fill and then empty a silverware basket was a difficult, often painful task in prior dishwashers. Having the top rack expressly designed for this purpose makes emptying the dishwasher a pleasure and creates more room below. All the racks are easily customizable to suit our unique family needs. This is the first dishwasher we've ever owned that feels as if it was designed by people who've actually done dishes themselves and who know the typical one-size-fits-all model is fits no family very well. We were also surprised and delighted by the superb service we got when we had questions regarding how to run the maching for the first time. Your incredibly patient representative walked us through every step, making the machine easy to understand. We've bought from several other manufacturers and have never received the top-tier service your company provides. Thank you, Bosch, for providing not only a wonderful machine but a rep who genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience using your product. Why can't every appliance manufacturer be Bosch?

This makes no sense. We have white cabinets. We received a black kick plate which looks horrible. Never heard of a seller doing this. The only way this worked is to take our old Bosch appliances kick plate which is white. Bosch needs to continue to provide consumers options.

This is by far the best dishwasher I have ever had. My dishes get super clean, it is sleek looking, and I love using the app. Being able to move the top rack up and down has been great to accommodate our larger cups. It is quiet and doesn't have any annoying song when the cycle is done.

I like the look and how quiet it is. Wish I'd gone 1 model lower withthe on/off control. I had to reset the 60 mins because other cycles run too long and now it says and hour,which runs 1 hr 20 mins and itr does'nt dry as well as it should

The Bosch dishwasher cleans thoroughly and it is very quiet. The silverware basket is very small and doesn't hold much silverware. It dries the dishes satisfactorily, but there are a lot of water droplets left in the dishwasher at the end of the drying cycle.

We love the washer so far. It has many different options comparing to the older model that we had for more than 10 years. This one is very quiet, washes cleanly, and the extra dryness function is excellent in terms of drying the dishes. However we do smell plastic smell sometimes when its finished, not sure why but we didn't have that with the previous model. The remote control in the app is a bit annoying though because it keeps asking me to reset to permanant when it's already set multiple times, so I have been having hard time to control it remotely. Overall we are enjoying the dishwasher as it also looks chic and modern.

3rd Bosch Dishwasher 1/20/2026

This is my 3rd Bosch Dishwasher. The racks are flimsly and have to be carefully pushed in. The water sprayer arms are 1/2 the size of the previous dishwasher. I have to rinse the pots after the wash to ensure all the soap is removed. The utensil holder is half the size of my old one with the idea you will use the 3rd rack for the utensils. When the wash is done there is no light comes on to remind you to empty the dishwasher and several times I have had dirty dishes to load and only then realized that I had not emptied the previous load.

We moved and left our nice Bosch 500 series to the new home owners. Our new house had a inexpensive dishwasher of a different brand. It recently failed so we chose an 800 series Bosch for a replacement. The install was a bit different due to change in AC power; the new unit requires and outlet rather than the hard-wired method I was familiar with. Other than that the install was easy and we are now enjoying the many benefits of Bosch dishwashers. Quiet with flexible loading and very reliable. I expect this new 800 series will live up to the reliability reputation as the previous 3 Bosch dishwashers have done.

We had two pairs of white porcelain coffee mugs, not new but faithful companions of our breakfast for two decades. Not surprisingly the bottoms of these mugs -all four of them-were stained dark with coffee over the years. Other dishwashers, hand scrubbing did nothing. As soon as we got our new Bosch 800 dishwasher, in they all went. An hour later they emerged shining bright, sparkling white as new! Thanks Bosch for the Impossible!

I have owned five Bosch dishwashers now in five different houses, every time I move I go buy the very most expensive Bosch I can find, and have it installed. Won't use anything else ever. Absolutely fabulous dishwasher the third rack makes all the difference in the world. Adjustability is also huge. Love, love, love these dishwashers.

I genuinely love my Bosch dishwasher - it cleans beautifully, runs whisper-quiet, and feels every bit as high-quality as you'd expect from Bosch. But I have one major complaint: who on earth decided it was a good idea to remove the delay-start button from the actual dishwasher? Instead of simply pressing a button like every normal dishwasher has had for decades, I now have to go find my phone, open an app, and go through extra steps just to set a delayed start. It makes zero sense and turns an otherwise fantastic appliance into a small daily irritation. If Bosch brought back the delay-start option on the machine itself, this would easily be a 5-star dishwasher. Until then, I'll keep loving it… and keep hunting for my phone every time I want to run it later.

WOW! Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher

I didn't know what I was missing until I started using the Boasch 800 series diswasher. I can tell that the quality of the cleanliness of the dishes, pots, utensils, etc are much better. I am also able to load more items in the dishwasher and the ability to raise or lower a rack is very helpful and the organization of the dishes are definitely superior to what I had. I'm embarrased to mention what I previously bought that only lasted four years. I live alone and love to cook so I invite people for meals at my house. Now that I have this Bosch 800 series dishwasher I no longer have to think "I hope the machine washed everything well." I am confident that everthing that goes in will come out perfectly clean.

My first bosch appliance and will strongly consider purchasing my next bosch appliance this coming spring. I love the alerts on my phone which proved so helpful when I had a platter blocking the spray arm. I load the dishwasher right after dinner then use the phone app to start it at night from whatever room I am in at the time. Smart purchase.

A great improvement over our former dishwasher. Best features include: extremely quiet, can barely hear it operating: racks that stack dishes closer together, and yet leave space for optimum cleaning; a removable filter that's a snap to clean; and racks that can be raised or lowered to accommodate large pans and food prep bowls. Very impressed with how many more dishes fit in the same size machine and the spotlessly clean outcome.
