Wonderful Dishwasher! Especially with the silverware basket at the top of 3 total wash baskets! Takes a little longer to position the silverware compared to the grouped silverware in basket of bottom basket of other dishwashers. One suggestion for bottom basket at the front part would be add more brackets there to position heavy duty glass glasses/jars with more stable
positioning. Otherwise, I really like our Bosch dishwasher, washes clean, quietly & works well. Has various cycles, which is handy..Requires some careful loading, like any other dishwashers.

The dishwasher is great! There is a little mechanical smell when it runs. I also found it uses a lot of JetDry finish but my dishes are always clean and dry.

We spent hours reading reviews before finally deciding on this dishwasher. Due to delays, it was installed out of the box, within ~2 months of purchasing. Within a few months, the panel began glitching but would return to functioning normally. By about 11 months we noticed it was becoming loud and not cleaning well. We went through all the troubleshooting without improvement and finally at almost exactly the 12-month mark, it stopped functioning. We called Bosch and could not reach a person after multiple attempts. We were aware they would ask us to go through their contractors to diagnose before even considering repairing the problem. But given we were down a very expensive dishwasher and it seemed absolutely preposterous it would fail this quickly, we called our trusted diagnostician and were told the motor needed replaced. In a one-year-old Bosch. So we again tried to reach Bosch, and again could not speak to a person. Finally we went through our credit card to cover the repair (they extend coverage out a year longer than Bosch's disappointing 12-month warranty). When I did email the company I received a response to call the number we called numerous times, so totally unhelpful support. We now have a perfectly functioning dishwasher no thanks to Bosch. It was our first Bosch and will absolutely be our last.

This new one, is upgraded very nicely- Includes a third rack for easy access utensils, adjustable shelves, the usual quietness and powerful Appwith loads of customizable bells & whistles.

So far so good! It works well, cleans well, and is quiet; however, it came with the smallest utensil basket I have ever seen. We are a family of five, and it's not realistic. I ended up keeping our old Bosch utensil basket and placed it in the new dishwasher. I realize a smaller basket is cheaper, but - I couldn't believe it when I saw it! Come on,' Bosch! Do better!!!!

Had a great sale plus some gift cards so I decided to go from my 15-year-old dishwasher that was missing an arm to this and it is an excellent machine and very quiet the dishes come out spotless however, the Crystal dry doesn't do anything so the 500 series might be a better value

The Bosch 800 has been an excellent addition to our kitchen. It's incredibly quiet (you can barely tell it's running) and the cleaning performance has been fantastic, even on heavily soiled dishes. I especially love how well it handles glassware and silverware without leaving spots or residue. The flexible rack layout also makes it surprisingly easy to fit everything from everyday dishes to larger pots and pans. It feels like a premium appliance in every way, and the combination of quiet operation, excellent cleaning, and thoughtful design makes it one of my favorite upgrades in our kitchen. Highly recommend!

Dishwasher is very good at cleaning and drying. I love the 3rd rack and that there is no exposed heating element to melt plastics. Only complaint is that there is not a green light (or other indication that the wash is clean.

It's quite a bit louder than we thought it would be, even with a decibel reading of 39. It takes two hours and forty five minutes for a complete wash and dry cycle. Besides these, we're happy with our purchase.

I am impressed with the wash results. There is practically no noise at all which is nice. I do wish there were options for a shorter wash cycle or just a rinse. This unit can be a bit awkward to load. Bowls tend to fall over in the spaces, and I wish there were additional fold downs for odd sized/shaped items. In the future, I may go back to a washer with controls outside of the door so it is easier to follow the progress of the wash. This washer is so quiet, if you don't properly hit the start/resume button or someone stops the cycle and forgets to restart, you might not notice for sometime. Overall, I do like the dishwasher.

Great appliance. Well-built, very quiet, and cleans exceptionally well. The only drawback is that it does not completely dry, even on the 2+ hour cycle. The door and some dishes are still damp with moisture.

We knew when we bought it that it would be quiet, but this is by far the quietest dishwasher our family has ever used. The Crystal Dry feature works well and gives the added benefit of the washer using less energy and not requiring all plasticware to go on the second shelf. The third row is important to us as we limit our water usage. Overall great!

Aside from the weird smell, this dishwasher is a dream. It works well and is easy to use. Not your basic machine. Cleans great and I don't have to worry about top shelf/bottom shelf issues if putting plastic in.

Overall, we're pretty happy with our Bosch dishwasher. Most of the time, the dishes come out clean and it runs really well. There are some dishes every now and then that don't come out completely clean, but it's not a huge issue.
One thing we've noticed is that there's a slight delay with the buttons. After turning on the dishwasher, we have to wait a few seconds for it to register. Kind of annoying at first, but we've gotten used to it.
Overall, we're happy with the dishwasher and would recommend it.

This is a great dishwasher. It has a silverware holder in the top rack. You can also put lids from cups on the silverware rack. It is VERY quiet. If not for hearing it drain into the sink disposal, you can't hear it. It cleans very good and dries them as well. Will buy again in 12-15 years when it is worn out.

I purchased this product from Lowes.com, it was installed and worked fine for about 16 months and then it wouldn't run. There are no error codes, i start the cycle, the cycle counts down to 0 in like a minute and says that the Run cycle finished. There are no error codes or anything anywhere. I tried all video methods and nothing works. Called Bosch CS, and they don't know what is going on either. Since its out of warranty i have to pay for a tech to come out and look and then pay for repairs, if any, afterwards. This is just a fancy product and doesnt work, you are better off buying a cheaper one and replacing it if it breaks. Would not recommend.

I did an almost embarrassing amount of research before buying this dishwasher. I compared Bosch with KitchenAid, Miele and several other brands, read countless owner reviews and appliance forums, and even asked Reddit for advice before finally choosing the Bosch 800 Series.
No dishwasher was perfect. In fact, I found some competitors had more flexible or spacious rack layouts, and that was one of the things that made my decision difficult. But when I considered the entire package-cleaning performance, drying, quiet operation, reliability reputation and features-the Bosch 800 was the one I kept coming back to.
Now that I have it, I'm very happy with my decision. It cleans extremely well, dries beautifully, and is so quiet that I sometimes have to check whether it's actually running. I also appreciate the third rack for utensils and smaller items.
After weeks of comparing models and probably driving Reddit and myself crazy with dishwasher questions, I can finally say the research is over! The Bosch 800 earned its place in my kitchen, and I'm very pleased with my choice.

This dishwasher looks very nice in the kitchen.
It is so quiet. Our TV room connects directly to the kitchen. We never hear the dishwasher running.
Most importantly, the dishes are completely clean and dry. Even the plastic bowls are dry. The only time there is anything wet is when something has a dip then water stands in that a bit, as expected.
Love it. No regrets about this purchase.

I'm very disappointed with this Bosch 800 Series dishwasher. We purchased it from Home Depot on June 10, 2026, and after only a few months of normal household use, the faceplate/control panel cracked.
For a dishwasher in this price range, I expected much better build quality. What was even more frustrating was Bosch's response. I contacted them while the dishwasher is still well within the first year of ownership, and instead of standing behind the product, I was quoted approximately 1/3 of the price of the unit to repair the cracked faceplate.
There was no impact or abuse that caused the damage. A premium appliance should not have exterior components cracking after only a few months of normal use, and customers should not be expected to spend hundreds of dollars to repair something this soon after purchase.
The dishwasher may clean well, but the poor durability of the faceplate and Bosch's handling of the issue have made this a very disappointing purchase. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Bosch 800 Series if long-term build quality and warranty support are important to you.

The great: everything comes out clean. It's reasonably quiet. It integrates well with Home Assistant, even via local integration, so it can be used cloudless. Failure statistics are one of the best of the market. Internal organization of the trays are the best I've seen in 30+ years.
The not so great: it's a tad thinner than US or Korea made machines, so we need a 1/4" trim to cover the extra hole. The door is not sturdy, so you better pull/push around the center of the handle. The door springs are way too strong, you need to hold the door with one hand to operate the buttons with the other. I hope it will weaken in a few weeks. There' no adjustment for this model - they have spring adjustment only for panel ready models. The IKEA kitchen toekick needs to be trimmed for the door. some programs cannot be started from the machine itself (like quick rinse), you need the app (or any other integration). It does not display remaining time when it runs, just the running status light.
Overall a very good machine, with a few things to improve.

I like that the control panel is on the top when the door is closed. It is so quiet, I don't even hear it running. The dishes are clean and dry after the washing cycle. The small rack on top is wonderful for silverware and small items!

I do love this dishwasher even though it is not perfect. It is super quiet. The light that indicates that it is running doesn't work anymore (bummer) so I have to lean over to try to listen to it to tell if it is on - very quiet! The rack options are nice overall but it seems like there are types of dishes that no one provides options for. I do like that you can put plastic on any level and not worry about it melting or warping.

This is my second Bosch and only because I moved not because my first one stopped working and that was 11 years later. These are excellent machines and this one is even more quiet than my first. The crystal dry is fantastic. My only suggestion is that the machine shoudl pop open when complete (like your competitors) to allow any remaining moisture to dry. Highly Recommend!

Had the dishwasher a month and in terms of quiet, cleaning and drying it is 5+ stars. I gave it a 4 because we don't feel we can put as many dishes in as our old one. The third rack for silverware is nice but the fixed angle of all the tines on the bottom rack makes it difficult to put bowls and stuff. Still a great appliance so far.

We've had our dishwasher for about a week, but it's faster and quieter than our previous model and it looks great! The stainless steel really doesn't show fingerprints and it holds a lot and gets everything very clean.
